Seismic Mechatronics BV achieves zero-carbon seismic acquisition with STRYDE using one eVibe and autonomous nodes

The customer, Seismic Mechatronics BV, faced the challenge of conducting onshore seismic acquisition operations with a high carbon footprint from conventional diesel-powered equipment. They partnered with vendor STRYDE to utilize their autonomous nodal technology for a zero carbon-emission solution.

STRYDE implemented a solution using one electric Storm10 eVibe and their autonomous nodes to replace three conventional diesel Vibroseis trucks. The results achieved by STRYDE were superior for imaging both the near-surface and deeper subsurface, even under challenging operational conditions, demonstrating a measurable improvement in data quality alongside the elimination of carbon emissions.
