Reach Exploration, an oil and gas company, sought to reduce the high costs associated with hiring contractors for seismic surveys. After a recommendation, they approached STRYDE to trial their Nimble System, aiming to bring seismic acquisition in-house while navigating land access restrictions and the operational challenges of the Covid-19 pandemic.

STRYDE leased Reach a system of 2,000 lightweight nodes and provided remote technical support and survey planning. A two-person crew with no prior experience successfully deployed the system in just three days. The project delivered exceptional data quality, enabling Reach to identify a new oil target. Consequently, Reach purchased STRYDE's full system for their US operations to conduct rapid, cost-effective surveys on-demand.
