Case Study: HSB Enerji achieves high-resolution fault imaging for gold targeting with STRYDE Mini Seismic System

A STRYDE Case Study

Preview of the HSB Enerji Case Study

HSB Enerji deploys 540 STRYDE nodes across 45 km for gold targeting in Türkiye

HSB Enerji needed to map subsurface structural features like faults and slip planes to target gold deposits in the mountainous terrain of Erzincan, Türkiye. Their challenges included a limited budget, difficult access, and the requirement for high-density seismic data. To overcome this, they chose the STRYDE Mini Seismic System for its cost-effective and high-resolution capabilities.

STRYDE implemented a solution using 540 of their lightweight, autonomous nodes to acquire a 45 km 2D seismic survey. This system allowed for efficient deployment at a tight 3-meter spacing and rapid data retrieval in challenging conditions. The result was excellent data quality that successfully imaged the subsurface architecture. This high-density survey, achieved with a minimal number of nodes, helped de-risk HSB Enerji's exploration program and improve their targeting of prospective mineral zones.
