Geological Survey of Finland (GTK) charges and harvests 3,240 nodes in 24 hours with STRYDE

The Geological Survey of Finland (GTK) commissioned a regional-scale reflection seismic survey to support its mineral system prospectivity studies. The project faced challenges including navigating sensitive natural environments and operating discreetly near local communities. To capture the necessary high-resolution data, GTK partnered with vendor STRYDE and seismic acquisition contractor Geopartner Geofizyka, which utilized the STRYDE Nimble Seismic System.

The solution implemented was the STRYDE Nimble System, a rapid-deploy seismic acquisition system that enabled a lean and agile crew to operate with minimal logistical impact. STRYDE's technology allowed the team to successfully capture high-resolution data that imaged the bedrock with exceptional clarity, revealing its geological structure and composition. This successful survey builds on a previous campaign, demonstrating the critical role of reflection seismic data in modern mineral exploration.
