Vega energizes fans and increases brand awareness with a Facebook contest

Vega, a natural health products company, wanted to promote a new line of smoothies through a user-driven campaign on Facebook and needed a way to run a full-featured contest without diverting in-house development resources. To reach fans and increase brand awareness they partnered with Strutta to create the “Get Energized” Facebook photo contest using Strutta’s contest app and customizable CSS Style Kit.

Using Strutta, Vega built and managed the two-round contest (submission and voting), leveraged built-in social sharing, admin moderation, real-time stats and user data downloads, and preserved on-brand design with Strutta’s style tools. The campaign far exceeded goals — 357 entries, 22,902 votes and 68,027 distinct visits — while top influencer Karen Oxley drove over 3,000 visitors; Strutta’s platform enabled easy setup, influencer identification and measurable engagement.
