A STRUMIS Case Study

Preview of the EvadX Case Study

STRUMIS deliver the highest project in England and Wales the Summit Building, Mount Snowdon, detailed and fabricated by EvadX Ltd

EvadX, a steelwork contractor, was tasked with fabricating and erecting the steel for The Summit Building on Mount Snowdon, one of the highest construction projects in England and Wales. The job involved transporting more than 100 tonnes of steel and 2,500 bolts up a mountainside in extreme weather, while keeping the project on schedule and within budget. STRUMIS and BIMReview were used to support the detailing and project management workflow.

STRUMIS provided EvadX with end-to-end fabrication management, including estimating, contract and budget control, material stock and procurement tracking, scheduling, and production visibility. With direct links between departments, suppliers, and clients, STRUMIS helped the team precisely number and sequence components for the mountain railway delivery, avoiding delays that could have added at least six hours. The project was completed on time and within budget despite severe weather, demonstrating the efficiency gains delivered by STRUMIS.
