Everllence, a leading supplier of marine industry engines, faced the challenge of handling a great number of large engine parts that had to be shipped externally for metallographic cutting. Struers provided a solution with its Magnutom cutting machine to bring this process in-house.

By implementing the Struers Magnutom, Everllence can now section many large parts internally. This solution reduced time, costs, and emissions from transportation, improved health and safety by allowing heavy parts to be loaded by forklift, and provided higher accuracy with laser-guided cutting. The results included a 25% increase in the number of large and medium-sized specimens cut in-house.
