Wayflyer, founded in 2019, helps fast-growing e-commerce startups access revenue-based funding to expand inventory, marketing, and other growth initiatives. As its customer base scaled, Wayflyer needed a way to lower the cost of delivering funding while continuing to support thousands of merchants, and it chose Stripe to help power that experience.

Wayflyer implemented Stripe Issuing to provide virtual cards for fast access to funds, along with Stripe Identity to verify users and reduce fraud. With Stripe, Wayflyer streamlined onboarding and now shares in interchange revenue, which it passes back to customers as lower loan terms; the company has delivered $700 million in total lending across more than 2,100 merchant cash advances, with customers gaining immediate access to funding.
