Good Friday Appeal, the long-running fundraising charity for The Royal Children’s Hospital, needed to adapt from a largely cash-based model to a more scalable digital giving experience. Working with Stripe and its partner Vertic, the organisation sought to simplify its payment setup, improve donor data visibility, and support online and in-person donations more effectively during periods of high fundraising volume.

Stripe helped Good Friday Appeal integrate payments with Salesforce and Vertic’s fundraising solution, enabling donation widgets, recurring gifts, and mobile payments through Apple Pay and Google Pay. The results were significant: Good Friday Appeal raised AU$22M+ in 2022, with over 25% processed through Stripe, and Stripe handled 44,000 transactions in a single 24-hour period.
