A Stripe Case Study
Tekion, the cloud-native automotive retail platform, wanted to unify dealership payments for repair orders, vehicle purchases, and parts orders while supporting online and in-person transactions. To do that, Tekion turned to Stripe and its embedded payments tools, including Stripe Connect, so it could launch a white-labeled, scalable payment experience across multiple regions and payment methods.
Stripe implemented a flexible embedded payments solution for Tekion using Connect, Terminal, Elements, Link, Payment Links, and professional services support. The results were strong: Tekion launched Tekion Pay’s beta in 90 days, expanded into the US, Canada, Puerto Rico, and the UK, and saw 90% customer adoption. Dealerships using Tekion Pay also reduced aged accounts receivable by up to 23%, while Affirm transactions saw a 40%–60% increase in average cart size.
