Tango is building software for the hospitality industry and aims to make starting and running a hospitality business as simple as Shopify made e-commerce. Its challenge was replacing fragmented, hard-to-use legacy systems with a centralized, easy-to-manage platform that works for both SMBs and enterprise chains. Tango turned to Stripe to support payments and financial infrastructure as part of that effort.

Stripe helped Tango build a centralized system of record and a seamless payments experience using Stripe Connect, Stripe Terminal, Stripe’s payments platform, and later Stripe Treasury. The result was faster client onboarding in minutes, competitive pricing, and new monetization opportunities through banking-as-a-service. According to Tango, Stripe lowered barriers to payments, accelerated its roadmap, and made modern hospitality management possible.
