A Stripe Case Study
TADA, the rideshare company founded by Kay Woo, needed a scalable payment solution to support growth in Singapore and future expansion across Asia while offering riders more payment options. The company also needed to maximize legitimate payment acceptance and reduce fraud and disputes in a market known for high dispute rates and low authorization rates.
TADA partnered with Stripe and implemented Stripe Payments, Stripe Radar, and Stripe Adaptive Acceptance. Stripe enabled TADA to add card payments in two weeks, block fraudulent transactions, and improve authorization performance. As a result, TADA expanded from Singapore to Cambodia, Vietnam, and Thailand, achieved a 0% dispute rate over the last 12 months, and increased authorization rates by 2.8% to process 98% of all transactions.
