Taboola, the AI-driven advertising platform, needed a scalable way to process payments as it expanded globally and added new currencies, payment methods, and fraud controls. To support its self-service model, Taboola turned to Stripe Payments, along with Stripe Connect and later Stripe Radar and NetSuite integration, to handle credit card payments and improve operational efficiency.
Stripe helped Taboola automate payment data sync, expand into more markets, and strengthen risk management with machine learning-based scoring. The results were significant: Taboola now processes transactions in 12 currencies across 51 countries, generates over $1.4 billion in annual revenue, and serves more than 600 million daily active users. The company also reduced frozen accounts due to insufficient funds by 66% and cut uncollected credit card billing payments by 88% in some markets.
