Mr Yum is an Australian mobile menu and ordering platform launched in 2018 that adopted Stripe Payments and Connect in March 2019. When COVID‑19 forced restaurants and venues to close, Mr Yum needed to rapidly scale payments and payouts to support a sudden shift to contact‑free ordering across hundreds of hospitality and entertainment brands.

By using Stripe Payments, Connect and anti‑fraud tools (Radar and dynamic 3D Secure), Mr Yum scaled smoothly—venue uptake grew 950% since March 2020, the platform served over 10 million users and saw 1,166% more customers in January 2021—while enabling next‑day payouts, reducing fraud and positioning the business for international expansion.
