StoneLoads, an online stone marketplace launched by the team behind Majestic Stone, needed a way to scale beyond manual text and phone-based inventory requests across its 15 acres of stone inventory. To build a complete platform that could connect suppliers, buyers, and distributors nationwide, StoneLoads partnered with Stripe and Black Airplane, using Stripe as the payment infrastructure for the marketplace.
Stripe Connect helped StoneLoads launch a seamless buyer-seller experience, while additional Stripe features like ACH payments and Stripe Invoicing expanded purchasing options. The results were significant: StoneLoads cut ACH clearance time by 75%, enabled suppliers to get paid in as little as five to six days instead of 30 to 60, and gave distributors round-the-clock access to inventory so they could place orders in minutes.
