Squire, the all-in-one barbershop business management system, needed a way to help thousands of barbershops accept more in-person payments as customers moved away from cash. Using Stripe and its Tap to Pay and Stripe Terminal SDK, Squire aimed to offer a faster, more flexible payment experience without adding hardware or disrupting operations.

Stripe enabled Squire to launch Tap to Pay on iPhone and Android so barbers could accept contactless payments directly on their phones or tablets. Squire integrated the feature in just two weeks, enabled hundreds of barbershops during beta, and now helps barbers start taking payments in minutes while keeping more transactions on the Squire platform for easier revenue management.
