Sofatutor deploys Stripe Billing to launch new subscription learning offering

Sofatutor, the Berlin-based online education platform for K–12 students, needed a more flexible way to manage subscriptions as it grew beyond its in-house billing system. The company wanted to launch a new early-learning product, sofatutor KIDS, while supporting multiple pricing tiers, global expansion, and more payment options, and it chose Stripe Billing to help meet those needs.

With Stripe Billing, sofatutor rolled out the new subscription offering in two weeks, enabled more than 40 local payment methods and support for 130+ currencies, and migrated tens of thousands of accounts with zero negative customer impact. By using Stripe’s no-code tools and expanded checkout flow, sofatutor reduced internal maintenance work and achieved a 2.7% increase in conversion rate.
