Shotgun drives over 560% rise in payment volume with Stripe Connect

Shotgun, a Paris-based live events platform, needed to expand beyond France, support payments in multiple countries, simplify onboarding for new customers, strengthen fraud protection, and offer more flexible payment options for ticket buyers and event organizers. To meet these needs, Shotgun worked with Stripe using Stripe Connect and Stripe Payments, along with broader payment and fraud tools as it grew into larger venues, promoters, and festivals.

Stripe helped Shotgun scale internationally with Connect, automate onboarding, and reduce compliance complexity, while Stripe Radar improved fraud management. Stripe’s Optimized Checkout Suite expanded payment choices such as Apple Pay, Google Pay, Link, Pix, and MB WAY, and planned Terminal with Tap to Pay to support on-site sales. As a result, Shotgun increased payment volume from €30M to €200M in three years, now processes payments in 49 countries, and sees international volume represent 20% of overall processing; in Europe, Apple Pay and Google Pay account for 50% of payments.
