Shore partners with Stripe professional services for Shore Pay Terminal rollout

Shore wanted to increase payment volume and revenue by bringing all payments onto its platform, but its POS booking system did not support in-person payments. Customers had to rely on multiple providers and devices for in-store transactions, so Shore turned to Stripe, including Stripe Connect and Stripe Payments, to create a more unified booking and commerce experience.

Stripe Professional Services helped Shore implement Stripe Terminal over a five-month engagement, providing guidance, workshops, and technical support to speed delivery and improve the customer experience. Shore Pay launched on time in May 2022 with an estimated 20% shorter timeline, and more than 275 Shore Pay accounts were created; Stripe Terminal also enabled Shore to consolidate payment data, reduce administrative effort, and offer faster payouts and streamlined terminal ordering.
