Roomex doubles usage of its expense card solution after switching to Stripe

Roomex, a Dublin-based workforce accommodations platform for companies with mobile workers, needed a better way to manage travel spend beyond lodging. After switching its payments to Stripe, Roomex wanted to launch an issuing product with spending controls, virtual cards, and smoother onboarding and compliance, while reducing the support burden of its previous expense management system.

Roomex chose Stripe Issuing, along with Stripe professional services and Connect, to build RoomexPay with configurable rule sets, merchant category controls, and digital wallet-ready virtual cards. With Stripe, Roomex doubled user adoption of its card issuing product, enabled same-day onboarding, cut support queries by more than 90%, and reached market about six months faster than building the solution in-house.
