Case Study: PepsiCo achieves faster, more flexible ecommerce and in-person payments with Stripe

A Stripe Case Study

PepsiCo chooses Stripe to power flexible ecommerce and in-person payments

PepsiCo, a global consumer goods company, needed to modernize payments across its Away From Home division, where many small business customers were still paying by paper check. To improve ecommerce and in-person checkout while preserving legacy customer relationships, PepsiCo chose Stripe, using products such as Stripe Payments, Stripe Terminal, and Stripe Organizations.

Stripe helped PepsiCo launch PepsiCoPartners.com and the PepsiConnect app in seven months, moving customers to online ordering and card payments and saving days of manual finance work each month. With Stripe, PepsiCo also enabled faster checkout, real-time order updates, support for multiple local payment methods across 20+ markets, and a successful Tostitos food truck pilot that used Stripe Reader S700 to quickly accept tap-to-pay payments at scale.
