NexHealth, a digital patient experience platform for dental and medical practices, needed a more scalable online payments solution as its customer base grew beyond 10,000 practices. Its existing system lacked support for newer payment methods, deeper data insights, and the flexibility needed to serve a broader range of healthcare providers, while still fitting into its broader patient experience platform.
NexHealth chose Stripe Connect, along with Stripe’s Payment Element and Data Pipeline, to modernize its payments offering. Stripe enabled a smooth two-month transition with no disruptions, faster onboarding, and more payment options like Apple Pay and Google Pay. The result was a 2x year-over-year increase in payment processing to a record monthly total, plus new monthly payout reconciliation reports and stronger opportunities to sell NexHealth Payments as a standalone product.
