OYO, a digital storefront for hotel and homestay operators, wanted to expand into new global markets while improving onboarding, payouts, and payment performance. The company needed Stripe’s help to support multiple currencies and payment methods, speed up operator onboarding, reduce working capital needs, and strengthen fraud prevention as it scaled its marketplace.

Using Stripe Connect, Stripe Terminal, Stripe Instant Payouts, and Stripe Radar, OYO streamlined cross-border payments, added in-person payments for U.S. properties, enabled daily and instant payouts, and reduced chargeback risk. With Stripe, OYO now uses Terminal in more than 90 U.S. properties, increased authorization rates by 4.3% to nearly 96%, and drove an estimated $500,000 in additional annual revenue.
