OrderMyGear modernizes its checkout flow and increases average order volume 67% with Stripe

OrderMyGear, founded in 2008 to help business owners digitize ordering and payments for team dealers, distributors, and decorators, needed to keep its online storefront checkout experience modern and competitive. The company, which has used Stripe for payment processing since 2011, wanted to improve checkout conversion, add more payment options, and make purchases feel more retail-like for its customers.

Stripe helped OrderMyGear upgrade its payment stack with tools including Stripe Payments, Connect, Tax, Radar, Sigma, and the Optimized Checkout Suite with Elements, Payment Element, and Link. The new checkout flow added options like Apple Pay, Google Pay, ACH Direct Debits, and Klarna, resulting in an 8% drop in abandoned cart rate, a 67% increase in average order value for orders using Klarna, and nearly 50% of transaction volume being processed through Link.
