A Stripe Case Study
Oddle, an omnichannel platform for restaurants, needed a smoother in-person payment experience as it expanded beyond online ordering after the pandemic. Working with Stripe and SUNMI, Oddle wanted to reduce the friction caused by multiple devices, connectivity issues, and staff training while keeping payments easy for diners.
Stripe helped Oddle implement Tap to Pay on Android through the Stripe Terminal SDK on compatible SUNMI devices, enabling ordering, payment, and receipts from a single device with no extra hardware. The integration was completed in about a week, and Stripe helped Oddle speed onboarding, reduce support requests, and unify online and offline customer data; Oddle now serves more than 200 restaurants in Singapore and is preparing to expand to Malaysia.
