Nextech turns to Stripe to power in-person payments across client networks

Nextech, a practice management software provider for speciality healthcare providers, wanted to add in-person payments to its platform but ran into integration issues with different client network configurations. Already using Stripe Payments, Nextech turned to Stripe Terminal to help physicians accept payments at the point of care.

Stripe implemented a server-driven integration with Stripe’s API, avoiding the need for the terminal and software to share the same network. This allowed Nextech to pilot the new offering in two months with just eight developers, and Stripe helped improve payment speed, reliability, and security while delivering a more cohesive patient payment experience.
