Kwik Fit introduces a new subscription-based offering and gains a first-mover advantage in the UK market

Kwik Fit faced a shifting auto service market as younger drivers owned fewer cars but showed growing interest in subscriptions, creating an opportunity to modernize its business model. To respond, Kwik Fit worked with Showoff and Stripe to launch Kwik Fit Club, a new monthly car maintenance and tyre subscription service built around Stripe Billing and Payments.

Using Stripe’s billing, payments, Radar, and smart retries, Kwik Fit and Showoff developed a mobile app and integrated payments system connected to Kwik Fit’s CRM, helping manage recurring revenue and reduce fraud and failed payments. With Stripe, Kwik Fit brought Kwik Fit Club from proof of concept to live service in under 12 months, launched a first-to-market UK offering, and won the 2021 NTDA Product Innovation of the Year Award.
