How Ticket Tailor uses Stripe to expand globally with minimal effort

Ticket Tailor, a certified B Corp and carbon neutral ticketing platform, needed a scalable way to handle complex payments as it expanded globally, especially into the US. The company was also looking to reduce payment onboarding drop-off, keep processing costs low for its 80,000 event organizers, and support a seamless, localized payment experience with Stripe.

Ticket Tailor implemented Stripe Connect, the Optimized Checkout Suite, Link, and Terminal to simplify onboarding, enable local payment methods, and unify online and in-person payments. With Stripe, it onboarded users in minutes, saved the equivalent of a full-time employee on compliance and fraud work, and saw Link drive a statistically significant lift in checkout conversion, accounting for 12% of purchases. In Belgium and the Netherlands, Stripe helped Ticket Tailor double sign-ups in 12 months, while the platform also processed $264M in Connect volume in 2022.
