HitPay, a payment processing solution for small and medium-sized businesses in Singapore and Malaysia, wanted to replace fragmented third-party payment and fraud tools with a unified, no-code omnichannel platform. The company needed a way to help SMBs accept both in-person and online payments, support global currencies and preferred payment methods, and simplify reconciliation and fraud management. It partnered with Stripe to build this foundation.
Using Stripe Connect, Stripe Payments, Stripe Terminal, Stripe Elements, and Stripe Radar for Fraud Teams, HitPay created a centralized commerce platform with streamlined onboarding, customizable checkout, and integrated fraud protection. With Stripe, HitPay grew transaction volume more than 8x in one year, from 12,000 at the start of 2020 to 290,000 by early 2021, and by 2024 had processed over 3 million transactions totaling USD $500 million for more than 15,000 SMBs across two countries.
