HeyGen, the Los Angeles-based AI avatar platform, scaled rapidly across enterprise customers but needed stronger fraud protection, better subscription management, and a smoother checkout experience as it expanded. After initially using Stripe for payments, HeyGen turned to Stripe professional services and Stripe products including Stripe Billing, Stripe Radar for Fraud Teams, and Stripe Checkout to address fraud risk and improve conversion.

Stripe professional services helped HeyGen optimize its Radar rules, add real-time monitoring and case management, and implement Stripe’s Optimized Checkout Suite plus Link and a Billing migration toolkit. The results were significant: fraud dropped 69%, disputes fell 57%, and payments success rate improved 21%, while subscriber lifetime value increased 15%.
