GlossGenius helps tens of thousands of beauty and wellness entrepreneurs run their businesses, but it needed a more seamless way to manage payments without stitching together disconnected tools. To solve this, GlossGenius turned to Stripe and used Stripe Connect as its payments platform, along with other Stripe products, to support a more integrated merchant experience.
With Stripe, GlossGenius added flexible payments, billing, and in-person checkout through Stripe Connect, Stripe Billing, Stripe Terminal, and Tap to Pay on iPhone. The results were significant: GlossGenius has processed over $1 billion in transactions, added more merchants in 2021 than in the previous four years combined, and saw customers use more than 50,000 Terminal devices, with 45% of Tap to Pay on iPhone users never having used traditional payment hardware before.
