GAIA, a fast-growing home goods e-commerce company in Mexico, was struggling with fraud, falling conversion rates, and limited visibility into why payments were being declined. Its older payments setup made it hard to manage credit card and digital payment gateways, and the company wanted better control over its checkout experience and support for local payment methods like MSI. Stripe helped GAIA address these issues with Stripe Payments and related tools.
Stripe implemented Stripe Payments to consolidate GAIA’s payment platforms, along with Stripe Radar to help block fraud and Stripe Adaptive Acceptance to reduce false declines and recover more payments. Using the Stripe Connector for Adobe Commerce, GAIA quickly launched the integration and improved results: conversion rates rose by 9%, authorization rates increased from under 80% to 89%, and the company gained better visibility, less fraud friction, and a smoother customer checkout experience.
