Frichti expands into corporate catering with in-person payments by Stripe

FRICHTI, the French food delivery startup, wanted to expand its corporate catering offer with smooth in-person payments as flexible working increased. Its existing setup for Cafet outlets was a “black box,” with little visibility into failed payments or refunds, and the team needed a more reliable way to handle fast, one-click purchases for employees and employers.

FRICHTI, already using Stripe for online payments, implemented Stripe Terminal to power in-person card and mobile payments with no back-end development. Stripe also provided the hardware, and the new solution launched in two months. The rollout at 10 Cafet outlets significantly reduced payment incidents, made refunds faster and more reliable, and gave FRICHTI full visibility into revenue and payment performance—turning the internal tool into a product it can sell to other companies.
