Flipdish achieves 97.42% acceptance rate during global expansion supported by Stripe

Flipdish is a fast-growing Irish online ordering platform that gives restaurants branded websites, apps and kiosks to accept digital orders. As it expanded rapidly across Europe and the US, Flipdish needed to maintain a seamless customer experience, mitigate fraud and compliance risks, and optimize revenues while finding a payments partner that could support fast, global growth.

Using Stripe’s stack (Connect, Payments, Radar and Terminal), Flipdish implemented Custom Connect to give restaurants control of funds, clearer transaction visibility and a seamless payment experience, onboarding merchants locally and internationally within days. The partnership enabled adjusted payout schedules to improve cash flow, unified online and in-person payments via Stripe Terminal kiosks, and supported growth to 3,000+ hospitality brands in 15 countries—achieving a 97.24% acceptance rate, a 1.12% authorization uplift and a 0.05% dispute rate.
