Dwell, a homes-focused media company, faced shrinking advertising revenue and the broader challenge of helping readers navigate high housing costs. To create a more sustainable business beyond print and ads, Dwell used Stripe to support a new digital subscription strategy, including a profile system that let users store credit cards and access products like Dwell Plus, a service directory, and a member database.
