Dubsado expands payment options and develops a surcharging solution with Stripe and Redbridge

Dubsado, a platform for creative entrepreneurs, needed a more reliable way to handle payments after its initial low-cost provider caused onboarding delays, KYC issues, held payouts, and limited payment options. The company turned to Stripe, using Stripe Connect and Stripe professional services to improve its payment infrastructure and support Dubsado Payments.

Stripe implemented hosted onboarding, Instant Payouts, and the Optimized Checkout Suite, while also helping Dubsado add Klarna and Affirm and work with Redbridge on a compliant surcharging solution. The results included reduced onboarding time, fewer customer complaints, improved satisfaction, a 56% increase in BNPL transactions in three months, and $1.2 million in additional revenue from surcharging, with 17% of customers adopting the feature within 90 days.
