Dorsia set out to build a new kind of restaurant reservation platform that lets members secure hard-to-get tables with a minimum spend commitment, while helping restaurants get paid faster. To support that model, Dorsia used Stripe Connect and Stripe Payments to handle onboarding, deposits, balance collection, and international expansion without adding complexity to its payments infrastructure.

With Stripe, Dorsia created branded onboarding flows, accepted payments via card on file and Apple Pay, automatically charged the final bill through POS integrations, and paid restaurants out the next day. Stripe also helped Dorsia scale to 21 cities across 9 countries and more than 300 restaurants, while paid memberships launched with Stripe Billing drove roughly 400% revenue growth in two months.
