BloomNation uses Stripe to help independent florists achieve 40% annual growth

BloomNation, a marketplace that helps florists sell directly to consumers and grow their online presence, needed a new payments provider after its previous one shut down in 2015. The company evaluated WePay and Braintree, but chose Stripe to support its fast-growing marketplace and subscription model.

With Stripe, BloomNation quickly launched on Stripe Connect and embedded Stripe Payments and Stripe Billing to streamline onboarding, payments, invoices, refunds, disputes, fraud prevention, taxes, and subscription collection. Stripe also gave BloomNation a foundation for future point-of-sale and financing offerings. Since moving to Stripe, BloomNation has grown to 3,500 florists across nearly 5,000 U.S. cities, and florists on the platform see an average of 40% annual growth.
