Amazon launches in new countries quickly with Stripe’s 40+ payment methods and 135 currencies

Amazon, a global leader in ecommerce, faced significant complexity in managing cross-border payments as it expanded into new international markets. The solution implemented by Stripe provided Amazon with native support for over 40 payment methods and 135 currencies. This partnership allowed Amazon to launch in new countries like Poland much more quickly, optimizing the checkout experience with local payment methods such as BLIK. The results included a significantly lowered barrier to entry and a seamless, tailored payment experience for Amazon's global customers.
