AdaptedMind, an online education platform, faced growing subscription and billing complexity as parents started, paused, and stopped memberships throughout the year. Using Stripe, the company needed a more flexible way to manage recurring payments, reduce failed transactions, and improve fraud detection while supporting discounts, scholarships, and future global expansion.

Stripe helped AdaptedMind upgrade to Stripe Billing, Stripe Payments, and Stripe Radar, adding tools like pause/resume subscriptions, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Link, smart retry logic, and custom recovery flows built with webhooks. The results were strong: 19% of subscribers use pause functionality, about 7.5% of monthly revenue comes from released subscription holds, 5%–10% of monthly revenue comes from recovered payments, and Stripe Radar helps prevent hundreds of thousands of dollars in annual fraud losses.
