Global Air Cargo Carrier reduces security vulnerabilities 99.8% with Stride

The customer, a global air cargo carrier, faced significant challenges with its mission-critical flight operations application, which was burdened with 505 security vulnerabilities and outdated technology. The internal team was too small to address the stalled .NET 8 upgrade and non-functional crew notification app. Stride was brought in to accelerate the modernization work and reduce security risks.

Stride implemented an incremental modernization strategy, upgrading React, replacing the build tooling with Vite, and automating security audits and unit tests. They successfully unblocked the .NET upgrade and rebuilt the crew notification system from the ground up. As a result, Stride reduced security vulnerabilities by 99.8%, eliminated all critical and high-severity issues, and restored a key communication channel, providing a better foundation for the client's engineering team.
