Goodwill Uses Field Force Manager to Manage Employee Time, Distribution Logistics with Ease

Goodwill Industries, a donor-driven retailer and workforce development organization serving a 31-county region, needed a better way to track employee time at roughly 60 donation centers and manage distribution logistics across its transportation fleet. StreetSmart’s Field Force Manager was chosen to replace limited GPS-only devices and provide two-way communication, navigation, and job-level time tracking for drivers and donation teams.

StreetSmart implemented Field Force Manager to handle clock‑in/out, dispatching, turn‑by‑turn navigation, proof-of-delivery with photo capture, and scheduling of home and commercial pickups. The solution let Goodwill Industries manage 12 vehicles across 40 stores and 60 centers more efficiently, expand workload without adding personnel or vehicles, and set up barcode/voice workflows for future tracking of 320 trailers—delivering measurable gains in dispatch capability, job tracking, and delivery confirmation.
