Case Study: Essex Crossing drives record leasing and stronger brand engagement with Streetsense

A Streetsense Case Study

Essex Crossing generates 7M impressions with Streetsense

Essex Crossing, a major $2.6 billion mixed-use development on Manhattan's Lower East Side, faced the challenge of creating a master brand and marketing strategy for its multi-phase project. The development hired Streetsense (then QuallsBenson) to develop its brand identity, launch its social media presence, and craft broad marketing strategies from the project's early stages.

Streetsense implemented an integrated approach that embedded the development into the local cultural fabric, culminating in a major brand launch campaign. The solution included creating a highly animated website, city-wide media impact strategies, and award-winning creative assets. The campaign generated 7 million impressions and 1 million website sessions. All three rental buildings leased at record paces, with the final building leasing during the COVID-19 pandemic for $9 more per square foot than projected. The work for Essex Crossing earned Streetsense multiple industry awards, including an ADDY Gold.
