Case Study: Cora creates a lush, sophisticated urban retreat with Streetsense

A Streetsense Case Study

Cora creates a lush Floridian escape in Tampa with Streetsense, drawing a constant stream of residents

Streetsense was engaged by Cora, a residential apartment building in Tampa, FL, to design its interior architecture. The challenge was to create a fresh and sophisticated urban respite that would appeal to twenty- and thirty-something renters as part of a larger multibillion-dollar reinvention of the Water Street area.

The solution designed by Streetsense drew inspiration from Florida’s lush tropical escapism, using a palette of soft greens, greys, and white with warm oak and amber accents. They created multifunctional spaces for work and play, detailed with maritime-grade finishes and custom Italian mosaics. The results were highly successful, with the lobby constantly filled with the targeted demographic of residents. The project was positively highlighted in the Tampa Bay Times, with residents quoted saying it "feels like a dream" and that they have everything they need right there.
