Coles Tailored music using Streamit’s solution down-under

Coles, Australia’s leading supermarket chain with more than 760 stores and over 15 million customers weekly, wanted to enhance the in-store experience by delivering music tailored to the time of day. To launch “Coles Radio” (developed with NOVA Entertainment) and stream it across states, Coles selected Streamit and its Lisa LCD - Ultimate audio players along with Streamit’s Device portal for device configuration and monitoring.

Streamit deployed the Lisa LCD players nationwide and used its Device portal to route live Coles Radio streams to each store, with a Fallback to card feature on the players to ensure uninterrupted playback if a live stream drops. The result is digital, time-of-day‑appropriate music delivered consistently to 760+ stores and more than 15 million customers weekly, improving in-store audio continuity and control.
