Stream Go delivers innovative, award-winning pallet collection & delivery service for Irish businesses

An Post, the Irish Post Office, needed a simple, cost‑effective way for small and medium‑sized Irish businesses to export pallets to the UK and continental Europe without relying on expensive local couriers and with better tracking and accountability. To support its Post Logistics service (a partnership with DB Schenker), An Post adopted Stream’s Stream Go platform to manage bookings, collections and integration with international freight forwarding.

Stream implemented Stream Go as the end‑to‑end solution — a self‑service booking portal, route planning and driver app supporting next‑working‑day collection (bookings until midnight), collection of up to seven pallets, scanned transfers to DB Schenker, real‑time Track & Trace and electronic proof of delivery. The Stream solution simplified exports, improved reliability and speed, reduced disputes through ePOD and GPS tracking, and gave SMEs full pallet visibility; Post Logistics’ impact was recognised with the 2017 Postal Technology International Award for New Business Diversification.
