To solve this, 7shifts implemented Stream Chat, using its real-time WebSocket-based infrastructure, flexible UI components, and strong developer support to modernize in-app messaging across web, iOS, and Android. With Stream, 7shifts added features like reactions, threads, file sharing, and role-based channels, and saw a 3–7% increase in messaging usage, along with stronger user feedback about the app feeling faster and more intuitive.
