Lululemon, an apparel brand, sought to create a digital experience to inspire a global community focused on wellbeing and reach new customers. To achieve this, they partnered with the fitness platform Strava.
Strava implemented a multi-pronged solution, helping Lululemon build a global Strava club and launch engaging challenges like the 40 | 80 Global Challenge and Ghost Races. These initiatives successfully built community and connected online activity to Lululemon's local stores. The results were significant, including 220,000 participants in one challenge, a 10x return on investment, and the doubling of their global Strava club's size.
