National Commodity & Derivatives Exchange (NCDEX), a Mumbai-based online multi-commodity exchange that modernizes trading in agricultural and other commodities, needed a robust, fault-tolerant platform to run its mission-critical trading application. With a long trading window (10 a.m. to after midnight), a strict uptime target (>99.999%), and a tight three-month rollout schedule, NCDEX required a scalable partner rather than just a hardware supplier.

NCDEX deployed Stratus fault-tolerant servers (Continuum and V Series) running VOS/OpenVOS with the OMX trading application, implemented by NSE.IT and supported by Stratus services.
