South Carolina Federal Credit Union, a community-chartered institution with more than $1.4 billion in assets and 150,000+ members, was managing 80 ATMs through a third-party bureau that limited customization, required 30+ days for changes, and added transaction and telecom costs. The credit union wanted direct control to deliver one-to-one member service at the ATM, reduce fees, and maintain high availability and business continuity.

South Carolina Federal brought ATM management in-house using Fiserv LynxGate software on Stratus ftServer systems with ftScalable storage (Windows/SQL backend). The solution provides intercepted transaction processing, near-constant uptime (~99.9999%), faster configuration and deployment, and a remote DR system; expected first-year savings come from eliminated third-party fees and lower telecom costs, while planned one-to-one offers at ATMs improve member engagement.
